Billy Lerner and Wife Marcella Di Martin improving Lives of Children in Belize, Jamaica, and Honduras

Billy Lerner and his wife Marcella Di Martin have made great efforts to improve the lives of children in Belize, Jamaica and Honduras through the Billy 4 Kids Foundation. This foundation strives to improve the quality of life for children around the world by donating hundreds of shoes and raising awareness about the global issue of parasitic diseases, which affect 740 million people worldwide. The mission is to foster a safer environment for children in underprivileged areas to live and play by preventing infectious diseases that affect barefoot children. As the ambassador for Billy 4 Kids, Marcella Di Martin is extremely passionate about this cause and has been making continuous efforts to improve the quality of life for children in various underserved countries. 

The foundation, spearheaded by Billy Lerner and his wife Marcella, recently donated 200 pairs of shoes to The Liberty Children's Home in Ladyville in Belize. The Liberty Children's Home is a sanctuary for more than forty children in Belize who have undergone tremendous hardship and neglect in their lives. The foundation visited the children's home to make the donation and get the opportunity to meet with the children. 

As a mother herself, Di Martin has taken the foundation's mission to heart. The charity has made several visits to children's hospitals in Jamaica where they meet with children and their families that were struggling from exposure to parasitic diseases. As ambassador, Marcella uses her platform to raise awareness for the need for better access to medical care and education in these areas, as well as the importance of providing shoes to prevent the spread of these diseases.

Billy4Kids went on a recent mission to Honduras where they visited and donated to The Sandy Bay Ministry in Roatan Bay Islands. The Sandy Bay Ministry in Honduras provides a safe shelter for at-risk children as well as a bilingual education with their partner the Beacon School. Billy 4 Kids has partnered with both for several missions to provide shoes to children and to improve their health and happiness. 

Although the goal of Billy 4 Kids is to provide shoes for children in need, the foundation places equal importance on spreading awareness of parasitic diseases and the need to combat this global issue. 

Through the efforts of Billy Lerner and Marcella De Martin, improvements to the lives of children are being made with every donation and every mission undertaken. The foundation's goal will not be completed until long-term solutions are developed and every child has the opportunity for a brighter future.
