Billy4Kids improves their operations to increase their impact in communities around the world.

New York, New York. June 1st, 2023.

Billy4Kids, a charitable organization co-founded by iPark CEO Billy Lerner, is on a mission to provide shoes to underprivileged children around the world in the fight against parasitic diseases. By improving manufacturing and operational efficiency, the Billy4Kids foundation has reduced the amount of time previously required to prepare for a mission, enabling the foundation to expand its reach and supply more shoes to children in need.

As the CEO of iPark, Billy Lerner set up donation banks at each iPark facility to collect donated shoes. However, most shoes donated were adult sizes and did not align with the needs of the foundation to provide children with shoes to protect them against parasitic diseases. Instead, Billy Lerner and co-founder Alexson Roy set up their own production facility to create custom shoes, suitable for children that were of durable quality to protect them from soil borne infections.

With its own production facility, Billy4Kids had greater access to suitable shoes, enabling the foundation to increase its number of missions. As the foundation developed, Billy Lerner sought to create partnerships with charitable organizations in poverty-stricken countries to better coordinate the shipment and volume of shoes required for each mission. In doing this, the iPark CEO significantly increased the operating efficiency of Billy4Kids.

The partnering organizations in these countries were able to provide Billy4Kids with information regarding the number of children in their facility, their names, ages, gender, and shoe size. This allowed Billy Lerner and his partner Alexson Roy to better manage the requirements of each mission and in turn were able to ship the correct number of shoes to ensure each child was helped.

By improving manufacturing and operational activities, Billy Lerner and the Billy4Kids foundation have succeeded in supplying thousands of shoes to children in need and assisting in reducing the number of children impacted by parasitic infections in impoverished areas. The iPark CEO and his co-founder of Billy4Kids continue to improve and increase the distribution of shoes to underprivileged children around the world with the mission to reduce their exposure to parasitic diseases.
